Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM), formerly known as KUTKM is a public higher learning institution that was founded in 2000. The Quality Assurance and Accreditation is one of the unit under KUTKM which was established on 1 June 2003 with a headed by a Director. On 1 November 2004, the decision of the University has implemented a restructuring and reorganization led to a change of the Division of Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center (PJKA). Starting from that date in upgrading PJKA has become a center full responsibility. The emphasis on quality is set to instill a sense of responsibility for quality among citizens and to improve the management and services that ultimately meet the needs and provide customer satisfaction. Therefore, Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center is responsible for implementing the following functions:

  1. Quality Management System
  2. Accreditation and recognition program
  3. Strategic planning
  4. Human resource development

On October 16, 2014, once again PJKA has undergone restructuring in line with the addition of functions under the Centre for Strategic, Quality and Risk Management (PPSKR). There are two parts under PPSKR to ensure that all administrative and management can be carried out more effectively. The sections are:

  1. Quality Management & Quality Assurance Academic
  2. Strategic Management & Risk
