Functions of the ISO Management Department

ISO DEVELOPMENT AND DOCUMENTATION

  • Manage, administer, coordinate and operate activities related to the Quality Management System (QMS) at UTeM based on the new ISO 9001: 2015 standard including the creation, amendment and cancellation as well as disposal of work procedures;
  • Develop manuals and implementations based on the latest version of the Malaysian Standard;
  • Manage new SPK Document Control and procedures according to ISO 9001: 2015 standards in intranet and physical files;
  • Manage the preparation of course and training requirements related to MS ISO 9001:2015; and
  • Manage the presentation of the QMS management study report.

ISO ASSESSMENT

  • Managing ISO Internal Assessments at the University level;
  • Planning, managing and implementing Data Analysis and Evaluation for the Staff Satisfaction Index;
  • Assisting in Customer Feedback management;
  • Manage Improvement Actions for the assessments carried out;
  • Managing Non-Compliance & Corrective Actions;
  • Manage meetings related to Internal Assessment;
  • Manage and coordinate ISO External Assessments at the University level;
  • Manage meetings related to External Evaluation; and
  • Manage the procurement of Certification Body contracts.
