Functions of the Strategic Plan Development & Management Department

• Developing the University Strategic Plan;
• Implement the refinement of the University Strategic Plan document;
• Conduct a review of the achievements of the University's Strategic Plan;
• Coordinate the development activities of the new UTeM Strategic Plan;
• Carry out alignment and study of new government policies for suitability and adaptation to the implementation of the Strategic Plan; and
• Improve understanding of the Strategic Plan among UTeM staff.

• Monitor the performance and achievements of Strategic Thrusts under the University's Strategic Plan;
• Provide data analysis of the achievements of the University's Strategic Plan;
• Provide periodic reports on the performance of the Strategic Plan;
• Provide Strategic Plan monitoring support services to PTJ/PBU;
• Plan, manage and implement Strategic Plan performance audits; and
• Coordinate the development and maintenance of the 5 Strategic Thrust (5ST) dashboard.
