Accreditation Management
Types of accreditation include:
- Provisional Accreditation is an assessment to determine whether a proposed program meets minimum quality standards before it is offered.
- Full Accreditation is an assessment to ensure that teaching, learning and all related activities for a program that has received Provisional Accreditation meet the set quality standards.
- Compliance Assessment is an assessment to monitor and ensure the maintenance and improvement of an accredited program.
Accreditation status can be checked via the official MQR website .
Risk Management
ISO Management
MS ISO 9001:2015 is an international standard for Quality Management Systems (QMS). It sets out the requirements for:
- Provide products and services consistently;
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements as well as relevant legal and regulatory requirements;
- Improve customer satisfaction through effective system implementation;
- Promote continuous improvement in organizational processes and performance;
- Assess and address risks and opportunities related to organizational objectives;
- Allows the organization to demonstrate compliance with quality management system requirements.
To maintain this certification, UTeM must:
- Comply with the requirements and requirements of the MS ISO 9001:2015 Standard;
- Updating processes and documents;
- Conduct internal audits once a year and according to schedule;
- Take corrective action against nonconformities (NC);
- Implement a Management Review by holding a review meeting at least once a year with the University's Top Management;
- Evaluate the performance of the Quality Management System, quality objectives and customer feedback;
- Make continuous improvements and improvement actions based on audit results, complaints and data analysis;
- Implement record and document management and ensure records and documents are controlled and updated;
- Ensure records are kept as evidence of system compliance;
- Implement awareness activities and ensure the involvement of Top Management and staff in the University's Quality Management System;
- Conduct audits with certification bodies.

Rating Section
Academic Staff: Publish quality articles, establish international collaborations and assist in the preparation of Academic Reputation (AR) and Employer Reputation (ER) data.
Support/Administrative Staff: Assist in the preparation of data for submission to the rating agency, provide quality services and support to students.
Students: Participate in exchange (mobility) programs, become university ambassadors, get involved in research and innovation programs.

- Attracting international students and lecturers;
- Opening up opportunities for research collaboration and international funding; and
- Providing added value to graduates in the job market.
